Groundbreaking at The Harvey Moorebank: Construction Officially Begins

Project partners, builders and agents came together to celebrate the official commencement of construction at The Harvey Moorebank.

On June 29, 2026, a milestone blessing and sod-turning ceremony marked the official commencement of construction for The Harvey, a boutique residential apartment complex nestled in the heart of Moorebank.

ABOUT THE HARVEY

The Harvey is a thoughtfully planned residential development designed to add greater housing choice to the heart of Moorebank. Its 58 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will provide options for individuals, couples and families seeking a well-connected place to call home.

More than half of the development – 31 apartments – is dedicated affordable housing. This commitment gives The Harvey a role beyond adding new homes: it supports a more diverse and connected community while contributing to the wider need for varied housing across Sydney.

UFN welcomed representatives from HOME789, Teamlink, PCG Build, Dickson Rothschild, consultants and the wider project team to celebrate the official blessing and sod-turning ceremony.

Following remarks from project representatives, the ceremonial sod turning officially marked the commencement of construction. A formal blessing followed, celebrating this significant milestone and recognising the dedication and collaboration of everyone involved in bringing The Harvey Moorebank from planning to delivery.
